Why don't I see my Shopify categories?
Categories in Shopstory are fetched out via the product feed. If a category is not found, it is usually not sent via the product feed.
In Shopify, you can use "collections" to group your products to make it easier for customers to find them by category. For example, items on sale can be grouped in the same collection.
What is used in Shopstory?
Shopstory reads out the actually submitted category, which is sent under Product Type.
This category is then also displayed in Shopstory and can be advertised.

How can I advertise the Collections now?
There are two ways to promote these collections:
1) The categories are adjusted accordingly in the backend.
2) A manually created product feed can be uploaded additionally. We will explain how to do this in one of the following guides
